What we do

We noticed that many talented working Chicago artists lacked a web presence. Hydraulik's webmaster discovered that many artists felt the process of building a web site was either too cost prohibitive or proved technically intimidating. Thus, hydraulikart.com was born. We certainly aren't the first web site to showcase the online portfolios of artists, but we are one of the only local Chicago-based digital art collectives operating today.

Who we support

We support Chicago-based independent visual artists by offering them an online space to showcase their artwork - free of charge . Members can host multiple galleries of their work, provide details about their art, post news and events and communicate with other members of the network. All that we ask in return is that our artists contribute new work to their hydraulik page as it develops and we ask that they participate in group Hydraulik showcases around the city of Chicago.
